Aliphatic Polyurea · UV-Resistant · Spray-Applied
YURU two-component aliphatic spray polyurea coating (WUVS-2) for waterproofing and protecting surfaces exposed to sunlight. Applications include roofs, exterior concrete, steel structures, and other projects where the coating remains weather-exposed.
The material is applied using professional heated spray equipment. Upon spraying, it reacts within seconds to form a continuous, flexible coating. Its aliphatic formulation renders it particularly suitable for outdoor applications where UV resistance constitutes an important project requirement.

On exposed roofs and exterior structures, the waterproofing layer has to withstand regular sunlight and changing weather. WUVS-2 uses an aliphatic polyurea formulation developed for these conditions.
Spraying allows the material to cover large areas without the overlaps found in sheet membranes. It also works on vertical and curved surfaces, although joints, edges, and penetrations still need proper waterproofing details.
Yuru spray-applied polyurea waterproof coating has a gel time of ≤ 20 seconds, helping the coating build thickness without sagging on vertical surfaces. The quick reaction makes it practical for projects where coating application needs to move efficiently.
The coating has a tensile strength of 16.2 MPa, an elongation at break of 460%, and an adhesion strength of 3.0 MPa.

Answers to common questions about application, outdoor exposure and custom product development.
No. This formulation is made for professional, heated two-component spray equipment. It is not intended for brush or roller application. We also offer a specialized UV-resistant polyurea waterproof coating designed for application by brush or roller.
The aliphatic formulation is developed for outdoor UV exposure. This type of waterproof coating offers good durability, resistance to aging, and resistance to yellowing.
Yes. Before specifying the coating, the project team should confirm immersion conditions, water chemistry, substrate preparation and any required water-contact approvals.
